I’ll go against the grain here.

Don’t like the term. Another deal that limits flexibility. Ekholm is old this year. He will be older when this deal actually starts. I don’t think this needed to be done this early.

I really like what he’s done here, his character and love of Edmonton. But he’s had some hard miles on that body. Going to be hard to get out of Walman Nurse Ekholm as left shots should anything go wrong. Leaves no room for youth either.
