We know he was fighting mental health last year around his mothers cancer and passing.

Years before though, he also had to go into the player assitance program because of OCD and anxiety.

Somehow we have a 3rd goalie in a few years with mental health issues. Maybe the 3rd time is a charm though :)

Yeah I guess he was in the NHL assistance program back with Nashville in 2021, and then most recently n March of this year (mother passing away) .. he seemed to play quite well when he got out of the program the 1st time.. at least we aren't paying him $5M x 5 .. and there is zero cap hit.. or need for a multi-year buyout!
