I think Ottawa will get better under the new ownership. They have been dealing with a sub-par team for awhile now. And the arena has been slowly turning into a dump. Also, the music and in-game experience was severely dated, and it just felt like ownership didn't care about the team. It doesn't help that Toronto and Montreal are so close. The only Senators fans I know in this City are kids. The adults all cheer for another team.

I'm hopeful the new downtown arena continues to progress and helps lift the team and the fanbase.
