Couldn’t possibly do a proper 3 point game system though.

Now a 3 point win system would be an actual real change for the better. Teams would have actual reason for playing hard to finish the game for the full 3 points. Gifting the loser point always seemed pathetic, even when it was us so often begging for a playoff spot in the decade of darkness.
