Sure. That's even easier. Figure out a criteria and go with it. Pack the barn and put it on my tv.
I also really want a junior hockey FA cup tournament.

Canadian Lacrosse does this.. there are two main centers for box lacrosse in Canada .. Ontario and BC West Coast.. and every year they play for the Mann Cup (first Mann Cup was in 1910)
Every year the host team switches between East (Ontario) and BC (West) .. the host team is the WINNER of the host league ..
The Mann Cup is a SEVEN (7) game series.. its a war.. and wonderful.
Each home team sells out their barn and lacrosse fans from each league all come to watch.. even if its not their home team.. unless Victoria or Nanaimo wins then the mainland fans like me give it a miss.. too much money for a 2-way ferry ride and hotel.
Teh CHL could easily do a variation of this.. and the fans would love it.
