Tigers lost it early in the 2nd period.. went from 1-0 after the 1st to 3-0 early in the 2nd.. lost all momentum.. not a fan of the Memorial cup tournament format .. every team got there playing multiple best of 7 series.. then the final is decided by a single game. Good on the Tigers.. played London 2 times.. finished at a draw overall.

How else would you do it though? That's already a long season for a bunch of teenagers. If they had to do a couple more 7 game series, it would never end.
It'll be interesting to see what happens now with the CHL with the players suddenly having NCAA availability. Is someone like McKenna going to want to play in the middle of nowhere when he can go to a big US University? Suddenly these players have options and I have to think the really remote teams are going to suffer the most for this. Prince Albert, Prince George, Swift Current...I don't know how those places will compete when players aren't tethered to them. They'll need to invest in facilities at bare minimum.
