I don't understand why more people aren't talking about the Petrovic hit on Brown and Bichsel's dirty crosscheck Frederick into the net, and the super dirty shove into the end boards on Nuge.
Both because they were all incredibly dangerous plays AND a grand total of 0 PIM combined on those 3 plays. Absolute garbage.

Absolutely.
With the hit on Brown the initial point of contact was Brown's head.. no slide up from a hit to the shoulder.. right to the head.. and in the past.. being intentional or not was never a factor in a suspension (or penalty.. which was bizarrely not called) .. the fact Brown was concussed and missed the game should be a factor. Petrovic in or out of the line up will not be a factor.. but the hit should be addressed by the league.. if it were trying to be consistent. lol
The hit on Frederick was super dirty.. slammed him full speed into the goal posts.. credit to Simpson on the broadcast who said it was .. and couldn't believe it was not called and stated it in the broadcast.. (as opposed to Louie who would have said something like .. ".. the Oiler fans seem to think that might of been a penalty..)
And the hit on RNH full speed into the boards from behind was another dirty hit.. Nuge got pushed in the back which caused the crash.. replay showed it was an intentional push.
Listening to DeBoer cry about a missed over the glass call .. and the media bringing it up as something the Oiler's "got away with" was annoying considering the 3 blatant dirty calls missed that they didn't talk about... one of which caused serious injury,
Oh.. almost forgot.. what about the phantom call on Kapanen where Rantenen hit his own face with his own stick.. that was definitely one Dallas got for free.
Its actually good DeBoer is making excuses for his team .. its a good vibe.

Think Nuge was tripped to start to cause his fall. Bichel had no stick and kicks his legs out to try to block the shot, but ends up kicking Nuge's feet to take him off balance. Plus rides him into the boards after. At the least there should have been a tripping call there.
I'm also old enough to remember Walman getting a delay of game when the lineman nearest to him called that it hit the glass, because he was right there to hear it. But then the other refs got together and decided to do a memory wipe of the linesman to give us a delay of game call anyways. You could also clearly see the puck change trajectory as it hit the top of the glass in the replay, but I guess the refs forgot their glasses that day, or they get a super low res image on the ipad. Last night was just some justice for that one.
