I don't understand why more people aren't talking about the Petrovic hit on Brown and Bichsel's dirty crosscheck Frederick into the net, and the super dirty shove into the end boards on Nuge.
Both because they were all incredibly dangerous plays AND a grand total of 0 PIM combined on those 3 plays. Absolute garbage.

Whilst more should be made of these, lets not complain just yet, look at how the Panthers have been head hunting, complain against them if we get through, highlight the issue so the refs are watching for it. As you can bet your life that Any of our top two lines will be a target

See - I disagree. The Oilers have forever taken the high road when it comes to officiating, but it really doesn't seem to have served us well. I understand there is bias, and things probably aren't as bad as we see them through our Oilers coloured lenses, but the stats seem to confirm what we think we see. The main one that Knob touched on when replying to DeBoer's crying was how few penalties McDavid draws, that they have swung the pendulum all the way to the other side to make sure it doesn't seem as though he is getting preferential treatment. The result is the bar for McDavid to draw a penalty is higher than pretty much anyone else in the league (wasn't an official heard saying something to the effect of "if we called everything on McDavid, teams would be shorthanded the whole game"? Or something to effect?
Anyway - I think we need to shine a light on these dirty plays, and remind them 0 penalty minutes were called for those 3.
What's the worst that can happen? We get more penalties than our opponents?
