Chatting with my brother in-law this morning who is an Oilers fan, and he was complaining that we are playing boring hockey. I am completely stunned by comments like that.
Thank the eff we are finally playing a controlled game and are picking apart teams. Excitement tends to come from desperation, and I for one love this version of the Oilers. This is a Cup winning formula.

Yeah - give me a boring march to the Cup before a spectacular 3rd round exit any day.
If boring hockey will lead to us having more goals at the end of the game than the other team, giddy up.
But even still - there have been lots of exciting stretches. Haven't found many of the games to be boring at all.
