Given the nature of Ekholm's injury (probably a groin... given the early attempts at playing) I wouldn't be at all shocked if they did hold him back for Game 3, just to be sure that he's as close to 100% as he's going to get without an off-season to heal. That said, they might also do what the Stars did the last round and ease him in by going 11-7.
If they go 11-7, who comes out? Using the last in, first out idea, it would be Kapanen, but do you really sit the guy who just scored the OT series winning goal in his last game? I don't think I would. I could see Frederic drawing the short straw in that scenario.

Probably would do Frederic too. Probably our least impactful forward last series. As much as it's fun to see some hits, far more important to get Ekholm going. Frederic may have some of his own healing to do still as well.
