It's gotta be the organization playing a lazy pre-series mind game, right? They wouldn't ditch Pickard while he's on a 4 game heater with 4 rest days... right?

I don't know - do you believe that Pickard can lead a team to the Stanley Cup? Or that he's a back-up goalie who made enough saves to get us past an inferior opponent?
If you believe the latter, at some point you will need to roll the dice on Skinner returning to form (although 'returning to form' is maybe a questionable way to put it when he's as often hot and cold as he is).

1) Putting Skinner in tonight would be lunacy. Pickard gets at the very least the first 2 games.
2) I believe Skinner's ceiling MIGHT be a bit higher than Pickard's, but I know Skinner's floor is WAY lower than Pickard's. I believe if Pickard plays like he did against LA, it's good enough to win a Cup with McDrai.
