Box check on adding some toughness at forward, ignoring that he is currently injured with a recurring issue. Recalling Frederick beat up old man Perry earlier this year.

Seems a high price for a guy with 15 points on the year. We do already have a lot of forwards who don't provide much offence.
I wonder if we'll convince him he should sit out until the end of the year...

I think it might have been 7 minutes! That's 17% more!
I'm still amazed that we paid extra for salary retention because we couldn't figure out what we were doing with Kane until hours before the trade deadline.
Trading for players already struggling to recover from injury at the trade deadline ... perhaps a good idea to avoid going forward

It's pretty incredible - our record with this is not good. Mike Green obviously mentioned, but Troy Stecher played in 7 games after his deadline acquisition last year before being out for the remainder of the season and all the playoffs. Oilers didn't even let anyone know he was hurt until around the 3rd round.
And Alec Regula still hasn't played a game anywhere since he was claimed back on December 11th.
Jones has been more than the toss-in I had originally thought he was though. Still just a 4th liner, but at least he's playing games.
