Weird fact of the day:

The Oilers have faced Mikko Rantanen four times this year on three different teams and have won all four of those games. In the three games they've played against those same three teams when Rantanen wasn't on the roster the Oilers are 0-3.

So kismet requires an Oiler win tonight to keep this bizarre stat in tact.


It's also amazing just how bad he has been since being traded away from Colorado:

With Colorado: 64 points in 49 games – 1.31 points per game
With Carolina / Dallas: 11 points in 21 games – 0.52 points per game

Which is good for the Oilers, and has devastated my fantasy hockey team.
