No chance on the second goal but Skinner totally lost what was happening in the third. Looked just awful floating in with all that open space to his right. Bleh. Painful game to watch overall. Both teams look like they’re going through the motions.

That was a perfect screen on the third goal as well. Our D need to start clearing the space in front of the net. Skinner has trouble on pucks he can see, no need to make it even harder on him.

Not a goalie expect but IMO, Skinner had room to look around. See more active goalies making way more effort than he did there to follow the play. He seemed pretty content to look at the backs of players.
D could be better too for sure. Pretty lazy night for lots of guys.

They look like they may never win again. If McDavid and Draisaitl aren’t on the ice, it just feels like we are zero threat to even get dangerous chances, never mind score. Getting pretty disillusioned on Knoblauch…
