After watching the Dallas game and thinking we looked like we were starting to figure things out again, this was the other side of the coin.
At times they looked like 10 or 11 year olds playing on the pond, passes going astray, puck never under control, when under control losing control softly. The two best players trying to be to fancy and show off and getting nothing right.
All 3 goals were preventable, all 3 fingers can be pointed at individuals, individuals who have been pointed at multiple times, BUT the thing that meant that I slept OK we hit the post 4 times. None were saved and hit the post, not were tipped, just straight post. How many games do you hit the post 4 times? Not many, after that first period it felt like one of those games where they wouldn't score, but we did, and then hit the post again.
Mistakes cost us goals against, but we were centimetre's away a convincing win I and most thought we'd have. I'd mark this game as one of those games.
