Next game, someone needs to grab a Canuck and wrestle him to the ground for 20 seconds in plain view of the referees.
If they call a penalty you stand up and point out the double standard, embarrass the officials.
Or they don't and now we know that grappling is completely fine tactic now.

This is why the Oilers issued their passive aggressive public relations masterpiece. Embarrassing the refs rarely has the desired outcome.

Only pro league where referees are a law unto themselves.. way too much power.. lack of accountability.. a perfect breeding ground for narcissism .. you criticize one, or them as a whole, and they will punish you with subjective infraction calls to remind you who's boss.
the classic excuses the media make for their "irregular" infraction calls are always ".. its a hard job" .." .. the game is SO fast.." .. but really if a TV or ticket holder can see the infraction from where they are (watching on TV or seating up in the stands) in real time.. how can the refs not? It smells more like willful disregard for the rulebook... aka "game/score management" .. "engineering league parity"
