McDavid is so good he needs two players to replace him. Both Philp and Caggiula have been called up, so we'll actually have an extra forward (at least for a while)--is one of the regulars destined for some press box time? I've seen the team respond both well (2019-20) and poorly (last year) to short McDavid injuries. We'll see what this group can do.

I think Philp will hold his own.. good forecheck.. and back check.. cycle the puck.. get some shots on net..

Drake I feel will be lining guys up all night on the forecheck.. in-coming missile.. 🚀

NHL needs to start protecting its super-stars.. no one pays to see the plugs.. you can see that level of hockey in the AHL.. at 1/5th the cost.. and TV networks don't cover them.. McDavid gets hacked non-stop.. no penalties.. a resultant injury is an eventual certainty..

Imagine the NHL's vaunted 4 Nations Cup with no McDavid to pump advertisers.
