I expect absolute excellence from Bowman. A huge trade to fix the D at minimum.
No excuse to hire this guy unless we get masterful GMing out of him.

You can't even say Bowman is a superior GM than anyone.. at the very best he was equivalent

Wouldn't fault Jackson too much if he wasn't comfortable making a high stakes hockey trade. Buffalo advertised that they were desperate for real players (to end their record playoff drought) and would move prospects and we took advantage of that, but fixing the D needs a different kind of trade.
Guess we'll see if Bowman can do it. Winning is the only way now to wash some of the stain of this hire off.
