The interesting thing is that Brown got more than Carrick or Stecher, so theoretically, that would suggest the Oilers think he's the first man up.
Certainly, all the stats and analysis suggest he's just terrible and shouldn't be in that role, although some of the Oilers-controlled pundits have suggested the pro scouts love that guy...

Gotta be something in this player that people in our org like. No one can see what it might be. His career has been a struggle, his stats are bad any way you look at them.
Guess at the least it's a bet worth keeping an eye on how it turns out.
