I don't get how some in the media are saying this could be a trap game for the Oilers. How can they possibly take this game lightly? If they don't come out hard, they will lose and the season is over. Fact, end of story.
Florida is the team that has an extra chance if they lose tonight. I don't expect the Panthers to play bad but if they do, their season isn't done tonight.

Yeah, I don't think there are any overconfidence traps for a team that can be eliminated.
The traps are probably more about wavering confidence, and worrying you're gonna choke. Hopefully Bad Bobo has nothing but those thoughts in his head right now.

If this was a team full of rookies, playing way over their heads that cruised through the playoffs with no problem, then maybe there could be a chance the choke in the moment. The Oilers are a vet team. They had about as bad a start to the season as it gets. They were at the bottom of the league for a tiny part of it. If they lose, I don't see it because they choke.

Choke pressure should be firmly on Florida rn. Amps up to another level if we beat them tonight. Everyone says a team making it to the finals 2 times in 2 years and losing the first time is supposed to win the 2nd time. Everyone says a team up 3-0 is supposed to win. Winning was supposed to be their destiny this season.
Nothing our players can do about it aside from laying it all out on the ice again and giving Florida their own 3 loses in a row.
