| oilfan94 wrote on Fri, 12 April 2024 15:06 | I'm not sure if the talk of relocation is going to somehow give the Coyotes and extra step, but I am guessing not tonight. Maybe in our next game against them though, since that would potentially be the last one in Arizona Coyotes history.
Any word on if McDavid is back in?

Questionable, at best. It's a struggling team like The Yotes so The Oilers don't really need their big guns for them. And they already have a playoff spot locked up so that's another reason not to rush him back.

Connor wants to get his 100th assist so I'm sure he will come back before season's end as well as having another go at The Canucks, because that game can have playoff seeding implications.

Hard to take the Coyotes for granted. They've beat a couple of other teams in the race the last week so clearly embracing the spoiler role. Former Oil King Dylan Guenther was all over the Canucks a couple nights ago.
I think the Salt Lake City stuff just gives them something to rally around too - if it's the last games as the Coyotes, they don't want to go out with barely a whimper. Have to watch out for a team like that.
I would love to see McDavid back...but imagine the Oilers aren't likely to take any big risks if he's not 100%.
