I don't disagree that we have to come out hard, and that St. Louis will be hungry for the win, but I think their race is run. 8 games left and 5 points to cover is a giant gulf. The Kings would have to completely implode for the Blues to even have a shot - and not only do they have a game in hand, but of their nine remaining, five are against non-playoff teams (Seattle, San Jose, Anaheim x2, Chicago).
Blues basically have to run the table, even if the Kings falter. That wouldn't be easy with Edmonton, Nashville, Carolina and Dallas still to play. They're done, and they likely already know that at heart.
