Condors start their playoffs on Wednesday with a best-of-five against the Canucks feeder team from Abbotsford.
I'm never too sad if we lose out early in the AHL playoffs when there's a NHL playoff drive because then we can bring up the taxi squad. I suppose it's not that bad for them if they get a long playoffs too - so long as their top guys (the ones most likely to get call-ups) don't get hurt.

I was planning of heading to Abby for the games but they play same nights as Oilers.. bummer.
I think if the Buzzards go on a run that it might be better NHL preparation for the Black Aces to be getting into playoff games at the AHL level than hanging around the Oilers for practice only.
