I would look to break up McD and Leon to gain a center advantage. The Wild have Steel, Gaudreau, EK as their top 3 centers. Oilers can roll out McD, Leon, Nuge. You should have the advantage there.

What if, and this might be a bold idea, the Oilers start with their two best player apart but then put them together 10 minutes into the game to overwhelm the opponent? They'll never see it coming.

That's what I would do especially on home ice. Don't be all or nothing like it is or save it for the last 4 mins of the game when you are down. Play them apart then all of a sudden in the first, second and 3rd load them up for multiple shifts. Screw with their match ups and the minds of the opposition. Hell throw them on a couple PK shifts. Leon has killed penalties a fair amount. McD is lately. Totally throw the other team off as much as you can.
