It is a big game as they all are - a regulation loss and the Stars are only 2 back, a regulation win and we are 6 up. But really, we're not fighting against them as much as our own division. Regardless what the Stars, Jets, Blues, Preds, and Wild do, we just need to finish the year better than one of LA and Vegas and we are in.

That said, a win here would have us at 77 points with 18 games to go. Certainly a much better position than a couple of weeks ago.

Only question I have is: Are the Stars also a tier 1 franchise like the Avs? Just wondering what to expect from the officials tonight.
