Hyman - McD - Yamo
RNH - Drai - JP
Foegele - McLeod - Kass
Perlini - Ryan Sceviour
Russell - Barrie
Lagesson - Bouchard
Niemelaninen - Broberg
Skinner
I like the mix for the top 6. I don't think a line can be successful when you have 2 undersized, somewhat passive players in Nuge and Yamo on the same line so putting a bigger, more assertive player on 1 wing in Hyman and JP and then 2 passive guys on the other makes more sense to me.
Benson deserves to take a seat. He had another game with zeros for stats except the dumbass penalty he took running the Pens goalie.

That was a horrible penalty. It is inexplicable why Benson took that route through the crease. Benson or Perlini....not much of a difference. Benson seems to have created more scoring chances throughout the year, but both are an offensive black holes.

With Shore coming back soon and McLeod unlikely to be going anywhere, someone will have to be waived and sent to Bakersfield. The choices would be Benson, Perlini, Sceviour, Turris, or Shore. Benson is probably the only one likely to be claimed.

I would probably send down Turris of all those players. It won't happen but maybe you get lucky and someone picks him up. No one will of course. But if you send him down, you'd get over 1 mill in cap space.
I think Shore would get picked up if he went on waivers. In my opinion, he's an NHL 4th liner that plays multiple positions and makes barely above league minimum. Maybe Benson gets picked up if some offensively starved team thinks his AHL scoring means something. The thing is, if you pick up a Benson, you have to put him on your roster but I think most teams have multiple Benson's in their organization. A guy who can light up the AHL but might not be an NHLer.
