eh...months trying to get through a thumb injury and he ends up needing wrist surgery. This is too Oilers for comfort.

This doesn't at all change that "The Time is Now" though. If there was any concern. The time remains very much now.

Probably the worst part for him is he'll miss the Lowe jersey retirement if they do it against the Rangers in November.

Are they putting up his Oilers' jersey or Rangers' jersey? Asking for a tier two buddy. ;)
