McDavid was destroying the world without needing Drai, letting us try to find a strong stacked 2nd line. 1 hiccup with a tired team and we're back to the 1 line team deal.

What this tells me is that Nuge isn’t a centre on this team. Which leads me to his contract status; you can’t pay him as a centre... you can’t pay him as a dual position guy. Even on PK, Khaira is his partner and Khaira takes draws. If his agent is pushing for additional money bc he is a dual position player capable of filling a top 6 c role as well as wing role, enjoy being a part of Buffalo or Detroit’s perennial rebuild.
