I don't think Tippett is McLellan, not even close but given how some fans and bloggers talk about this line, you'd think they invented hockey. So if this line doesn't come out lighting the world on fire from shift 1, I will be disappointed.

I'm really unsure on your stance regarding this line, but it is consistent. Is it just me, or wasn't this trio the best line in hockey before the league shutdown nearly a year ago? What do you see differently?

It sure was. What stance do I apparently have that I am missing here?
I have heard and read 100's if not a 1000 times how amazing that line is. I've heard people rant about it many, many times. I have heard and read multiple stats people quote all kinds of numbers on how amazing it was. You just reminded me again how great it was. Everywhere I look I am told of their greatness so why shouldn't I have sky high expectations?

You have a dozen or so posts about that seem to making fun of fans wondering why this line hasnt had a chance.
An equal number that come off as sarcastic and implying that if they arent the best line in the NHL from the very first shift than the fans are wrong, Tippett was right keeping them apart and they are a failure.
The last few days of your posts have obsessed with this topic. For you to question "What stance do I apparently have" is pretty funny given your recent history on the subject.
Overall it is right on brand for you though. The Oilers are right, the fans are wrong and anyone questioning them is an idiot. If nothing else you are consistent.
Anyway, given the recent lack of production from the entire team I dont see an issue with re-uniting this trio. Hopefully it sparks something because the team as a whole has been pretty awful the last two games.
