This team is embarrassingly thin. On top of cutting ties with that genius (cant win a trade ) Gm we have, we also need to do a major clean up. I'd be shopping Draisaitl (assuming we had a GM who could fleece someone) for some damn parts to fix this sinking heep. The way he looks this season, by the time he's in year 4 of this deal, he might be mentally checked out. This guy doesn't seem to have a tonne of compete. 1/3 into the season and he looks gassed. It's too bad we couldn't pry Scheifele and one of their higher up D from WPG...
Watching most of the game, it seems its the same ol, same ol to me. Out team looks AHL to everyone elses NHL. Our D...terrible....Goaltending, has been strong except tonight. Forwards..outside of Connor, can't score....Same as last year....Yet we made minor changes. Why are we the only team in the NHL that stands pat when it's clear the team wasn't good enough. This frustrates the crap out of me. I've turned down so many free tickets cause in all honesty, why would I leave the comforts of my home to go and watch that garbage live...If tomorrow they announce Chaisson is gone for any length of time, we're done boys. That was our secondary scoring. Enough of this crap already....This team has become the official goat on the NHL, and as nice a kid as Connor is, eventually he'll say enough is enough.

Problem A - The current GM has handcuffed the team so badly that even if we acquired Super GM, Super GM could do very little for quite some time.
Problem B - The reputation this management group has made for itself, it’s doubtful Super GM would want to be a part of this mess. An organization with 3 former GM’s looking over his shoulder.
Problem C - Bob Nicholson is clearly just a “yes” man. He’s a huge part of the problem here.
