The Devils could have blown the game open in the second, but the Oil PP came to the rescue. A point is pretty good, all things considered.

Jarry gave them a shot to win. Just a horrid second period. Refs made a mess again too. The OT was awesome, wish we could have finished one of those chances. Jarry gave us a chance in the shootout too but some super weak attempts after McDavid buried his. Ah well. Good to get a point.

3 games in 4 nights. This one in an arena they seldom win. They lost their legs in the 2nd. Good game, take the point.

We got a point, we need to work on our shoot out moves going forward. However, this team has grit, it's willing to fight and unlike teams of yesteryear we don't roll over when we are down. They baton down the hatches and give themselves a chance.
Jarry gave us a huge chance, Nuge on his night did what Nuge has done all these years. We let in 2 PP goals and so some shade on the PK, but very little as they killed off others and prevented what could have been the killer goal. Muk had his worse game for a while, he'll learn from it and may be eating popcorn the next game, but that's fine.
Take me home, country road
to the place where I belong
to Alberta, to see the Oilers
take me home, country road

Would have been cool if Nuge got a storybook finish to his record setting game on the shootout, but not meant to be. Still had a great game and big reason we got a point.
Think he needs 69 more games now to pass Lowe for regular season + playoffs as an Oiler. Could happen this coming playoffs
