This will be a tough one. Not sure what to expect. Now that the devils have a good goalie they are a legit Stanley Cup team. I would even be happy with an overtime point, but I will go with.
4-2 oil win

We do usually play pretty good against Helle. Jersey likes to push offense all night, so definitely a challenge for Babcock's more conservative game plan.

Hopefully we can put up a good performance to celebrate Nuge passing Lowe for most games played as an Oiler

Maybe a hatty of goals and Gordie Howe hatty as well. We've not seen Slugger Nuge for a bit.

Oilers actually shaking things up a bit, putting Walman back in--looks like he's on the right side on the third pair. Frederic also comes out for Jones.
Podkolzin - McDavid - Draisaitl
Dach - Nugent-Hopkins - Kapanen
Formenton - Dickinson - Joseph
Jones - Michaels - Hallander
Ekholm - Bouchard
Shea - Murphy
Mukhamadullin - Walman
Jarry
Tomkins

Just saw that McDavid was named player of the month for October (duh!) and Jarry was named second star of the week for last week.
Nice to see some recognition.

Walman in .. Ember out..
Jones in.. Fred out..
Walman gets his chance.. we'll see what this guy is made of.. babcock told him clearly what he was doing wrong and what was expected of the defensman.. so we'll see if he can change..
I suspect effort and smarts isn't his main problem.. its quickness and agility.. I don't think he can improve those two probems without hard training.. it was his same problem last year.. and had the whole summer to do something.. nada
Jones/Fred .. I'd say Fred has been slightly better .. so I think Babcock is just rotating him in..
This will be a tough out.. need to keep the goals against to 1 or 2.

I suspect with Walman its mainly his skating.. he lumbers.. can't change that just by trying harder.. Murphy gets away with it because he plays smart an dthinks fast.. we'll see!

Don't feel like Emberson deserved to be out, but oh well, gotta play a 7M guy and Murphy is a vet.
Hope Walman doesn't make Babcock regret it.

TV box says 6:30 on SNO and SNE. 7:30 on SNW.
I expect some who are recording will join late.
