Sad shootout attempts. Years of practicing against guys like Skinner and Jarry has melted our players brains.

Jarry is not the guy…
The only thing happening with him in net, is to find impossible ways to lose…
Get rid of him…. period.

Jarry had some good saves.. Michaels has tailed off and he's not even winning faceoffs.. his experiment may have expired.. Dach is a better winger than center.. Howard gets a snipe finally ! (not much else)
the bottom 7 looked poor the last 3 games..
Just when you think your team has gained some speed an dsize.. they seem to be out skated and getting beaten to every puck.. vs. Detroit, TO, Carolina, Minni.

Why....... why does this team just always have depth issues? How is this possible, with guys like Nuge, Hyman, Freddy, Howard, Kapanen, etc?
It's like over half of the team just goes for a public skate most games. Not good enough, and it hasn't been for way too long.

No depth for sure, and then the top two look tired after carrying the team the past couple of games also. That second period was so Oiler like that it could have been any variant of the team from now back to 2007.....
We got a point, it could have been more, perhaps should have been but we got a point and if we win more than we lose and when we lose we grab a point it's going to end up with us in the play-offs again.
Pleased for Howard to score, he needs a couple more in the next few games to give him some confidence.
Take me home, country road
to the place where I belong
to Alberta, to see the Oilers
take me home, country road

I think both McD and Leon.. and Nug eteh last one.. have gone with the multi-deke .. my hypothisis is that the ice is just too crappy to do that.. even with a scrape.. each time they've stick handled their way right into the guys pads.. got in too close each time.. ran out of ice.. the only shot they got in was a snipe shot by Nuge... pick a top corner within 10 feet and the goalie has no hope.
