Two if the biggest turd refs in the NHL have retired. Kozari is famous for his run in with McDavid and his general incompetence. Chris Lee was also very famous for his incompetence, I remember he pissed off Ron McLean back in our Oilers/Lames playoff series with his terrible positioning.
Sadly, they will probably be replaced by 1 or 2 more dunces :)

Maybe not dunces, but likely very raw. NHL was seeking out former AHL'ers to take on officiating positions since the well for new officials was a bit dry. When I watch WHL games, I do see a few up-and-comers, but for the most part it does not look good.
