Oilers sign Ryan Shea 5 x $4M
He was +30 with Pittsburgh last year.. 19 minutes average ice time.
Apparently he was a draft pick of Bowman..
His cap hit is LESS than Vinny Desharnais..

Getting paid for a breakout season at 29. Hopefully he maintains it. Seems to be able to push some offense.

Seems like Shae created a lot of fans this last season. Helped elevate Letang's game who has struggled a bit in recent years. Solid passer, so we should be hoping we are adding another guy that can hit our top guys with exit passes on the fly.
Just gotta hope his breakout year is his new normal.

Yeah, seems he was doing both, but maybe at a top tier level with his passing game. We need more of that around here. Might be a good compliment to Murphy's game.
