Saw that.. Nurse gives list of 3 to 5 teams.. don't worry Bowman will screw that one up too.. . we won't be coming back with +9.25M .. Bowman will just give it away to Walman Part II .. Bowman's problem is he can't evaluate player talent.. his team's or others..

Wonder what those teams are. Hopefully SJ and Toronto on the list. Maybe LA too. Holland might want his Nurse/Ceci pair back!

Some Nurse updates. Comment on the 3 teams Nurse has on his list. ANA is not on it, he's only given Bowman 3 teams so far.

- PHI is interested but will need to move some pieces out first (Ristolainen), same for BOS
- PIT wants EDM to retain which they are not willing to do
- Nurse hasn’t agreed to open up his list for ANA yet
Odd Nurse isn't giving ANA as a destination he would accept. He didn't take putting in 2 GWG's for the Ducks in our series as a sign he should be playing for them?

I'm starting to think that the classic Oiler strategy of waiting until a players value is at absolute rock bottom, leaking to the media that you are desperate to get rid of the player and then begging one of the other teams to do you a favour and take them isn't really working out that well.

The funniest thing I have read about this saga when it is being reported Darnell won't expand his 3 team trade list..
At the end of the day, you have a situation where you asked to trade the player and he said no, then he thinks, "Well if you don't want me then trade me but since I control the hammer, I only want to go to these 3 teams"
Blundering Bowman: "You, uhh, you, uhh, you need to expand your trade list"
Nurse: "No"
Local Sports Media: "You have to trade Nurse, you MUST trade Nurse, Nurse has to go"
Fans: "It's time but smh if he doesn't go o'ell"
What a farce.
The very definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing expecting different results.

We get to pick between 21 teams next summer, so guess that is the only threat we can give him. He has a chance this year to pick his spot among maybe 5 or 6 teams. Next summer he is just at the mercy of which of 21 we send him off to.
Be picky and obnoxious now and you might have to enjoy a year of shame, being called out by media/fans all season long for every mistake after you were a punk asking for a trade but not accommodating the team at all, and then get tossed away to any crappy team we please next summer. Or maybe don't be an idiot this summer, and still get to go to a nice spot and start your career reboot.
