Looks like no more games on CBC, which kind of ends the HNIC tradition. Gotta pay up for those SN channels for everything now.

Yeah that's a sad end.. Shannon on Stauff was saying when he worked at CBC (long before sportsnet deal) .. hockey contributed to 50% of CBC revenue ..
In this last deal with sportsnet I don't believe CBC got anything

Some people without cable or sportsnet won't have hockey anymore..

TSN still owns the HNIC theme song though! .. hopefully one day they get a chance to compete with Sportsnet again for NHL games and can re-use it
