The article Seravalli wrote gives some less bad sounding reasons, like Vegas is just busy with the playoffs, and that the Oilers don't have an actual vacancy yet as reasons.

Well at least the Oilers haven't lost a 2nd round draft pick.. yet
Sounds like Knobby is done.. I think Vegas are denying access to screw with the Oilers.. and make the denial public so Oilers get dragged through the media mud before they actully announce Knob..
Not really Knobs fault this team has under performed.. its the lack of roster ability Jackson, Holland, Bowman created .. getting a new coach isn't going to chnage that.. guys that are too slow are going to still be too slow.. etc.. its not the "systems"..
