These bastards sucked me back in.
I was fully expecting a loss in game 5 and had accepted it and was ready for the off season and sweeping changes.
Then they go and play well and I start thinking..maybe..
Maybe they can get healthy on the fly. Maybe they actually can bring playoff level care/intensity. Maybe if they get through this round they go on a run. Maybe I'll still be watching hockey in June again.
I would have been happier if they were just awful and lost but the last game is going to make it extra aggravating if they lose - especially the selective super x-ray vision of the beer leaguers in game 4.

Yeah same here. I've only watched two games this series - games 1 and 5, both of which we won. I kinda feel obligated to watch this one too.

Yeah same here. I've only watched two games this series - games 1 and 5, both of which we won. I kinda feel obligated to watch this one too.

I'm curious to see if Knobber puts Fred back in.. and whether Dach or Lazar comes out.. Lazar is a FO option.. I think Dach is faster than Fred.. not sure what extra ingredient Fred provides .. haven't seen it in the playoffs so far..

I noticed that every playoff game has a US ref now .. really pushing US refs
There's only 9 US refs in the league out of a total of 50 .. so less than 20%
This US guy Blandina is a playoff rookie.. and ranked 15th out of 50 refs in seniority/games reffed..
Real US ref bias by the NHL.. why?
