McDavid has 3 to 4 guys closing on him every time he rushes into the O zone.. which leaves 2 Ducks covering the remaining 4 Oilers.. someone should be open for a pass from McD.. where are they? .. other teams would have a guy floating down the slot for grade A snipes.. and goals.. your opinion may vary but IMHO I think in general they are too slow to keep up and don't have enough size/strength to fight for position if they do get there .. Hyman and Nuge seem to be a step slow to keep up.. and get back.. consequently we're losing the transition game.. and if you dump it in to force their D back.. we don't get there in time ti initiate a forecheck and don't have the size to create a cycle if we do..
Ducks are a large fast team, Oilers overall aren't indicating they match up except for a few players.
And even if we were to over come Duck speed and size there is the routine mental mistakes our defence makes to further tilt the contest.

I’d be madder at his line mates if it looked like he cared to even look at them for a pass. He’s going it alone right into coverage usually in this series. Drai is actually methodically drawing guys to him and passing off before he’s checked. McDavid wants to create a highlight dangling right through multiple players.
