You aren't going to win many games if you keep giving up 6 goals a game, boys. Time for the big boy pants to get pulled on. If they can't find a way to play solid D and stay out of the box, this series is already over.

I'm hoping Knoblauch is fired after this debacle of a season is over. Dude is not a good coach.

Sorry, make that seven goals.

In the playoffs, hahahaha... what a joke. Against arguably the weakest team heading into the playoffs. Yuck.

Big boy pants time. Get the big boy pants on.

You might as well. Maybe he'll get hot and he definitely can't be any worse.

Not to mention they kind of need to know what he is. He's the only one under contract for next year lol

No.. Ingram is the guy.. if Jarry was in net I figure it'd have been something like 10-2

I like Ingram as well. But I have a feeling Jarry gets the nod. Maybe with all this time off he will be decent. Ugh. I don’t know.

You know what…. every time a shot is taken from blue line…. i feel it in the net…. and Inghram appearing after the puck is already sitting in the net….

Do you notice that!?
And McDavid…. —— all over this series….
With or without injury, he was not interested in playing a teams game… And it’s noticeable!
Drai is the only solid player we have… And Dickinson… but he is made out of glass it seems…

After 85 games this season, to not know how to defend and be scored on 4-5-6-7 on daily basis…. Do you think the coach would do something…. no!?

Looking like Dickenson is going to be Bowman's Athanasiou .. only one game of playoffs for a 1st round pick

We have 3 guys out.. Dickenson, Henrique, Jones.. Henrique mighta made a difference in FO's.. Dickenson for sure.

Starting to figure out why no one signed Rozlovic all summer.. turns into the invisible man.. which can be said about a lot of other players as well..

I think McDavid is pushing through something.. thinking UBI.. his stick handling and passes are way off.. remember he had his hand wrapped after the Olympics.. ? Could also have a nagging LBI doesn't have the same bursts of insane-mode speed..

That being said.. he's the greatest player in history.. in MCDavid I Trust.. and Believe in.. Amen :)

Look mediocre at everything like we have most of the season.

Looks like we have to be pushed near the brink again before we smarten up a bit? Will that even come this year? Last year we needed the Kings to make lots of unforced errors to let us back in the series. I don't think Quenneville and these ducks are going to give things away for free. They don't have a perfect roster, and their goalie isn't that good, but they probably aren't going to let up on attacking us, and we have looked weak as heck around our net defending all season long.

I've said for a while now, when McDavid is trying to dipsy doodle all the time and he keeps losing the puck and things aren't going right for him, he's carrying an injury of some sort. It's happened numerous times before.

What infuriated me the most was on at least two goals they scored they went past our bench gloating and goading us and at no time afterwards did we actually look to do anything about it. We've got rid of the goon out of the game and they want to rid the game of fighting, but the "code" still exists and at no point did anyone play by it on our team.

Lastly, I know people have mentioned Quenneville as out coaching Knoblauch, and he may be, but look who his assistant is Woodcroft. If any coach in the league is going to be able to come up with something to stiffle McDavid and Drai it's him, he knows them better than anyone.

Got to come back on Sunday, play hard, keep the lane to the goal clear to leave who ever is in net a clean look at the puck and not take stupid beer league penalties.

Anyone paying attention could see this. And yet the Oilers management team somehow couldn't see the value in guys like Corey Perry or Evander Kane even after the last two years. Yes maybe overpayed or less useful in the regular season but you need them in the playoffs. The Oilers could have kept one or both and they decided they didn't need either.

And Knoblauchs only solution is to roll out 97 and 29 again and again. They look completely exhausted and beaten and it's only 3 games into the series. He get's somewhat of a pass because of all the injuries but they need to start playing the rest of the team. Play the 3rd and 4th lines on a regular shift and let them create energy and contribute. Maybe someone will take a piece of one of their skilled players - what an idea!

Right now less is more, particularly with mcdavid. He is a walking turnover and giveaway machine.

Well, one team actually played playoff hockey, last night, the other looked annoyed that they even had to try. 😡
