McDavid should win the Hart trophy every year.. he is the league MVP.. and the team's MVP.. every year.. plus no one ever talks about the leadership he brings to the team.. he carries an entire team on his back every year.. he is the offence.. he either scores or assists on highest percentage of his teams goals every year.. everyone knows the team doesn't have great goaltending.. or a top level defence.. Oilers win games based on what McDavid can do.. he becomes the entire focus of opposing teams game plans.. no one is more valuable to a team than he is.. by any measure..
