Tampa Bay seem to think Corey Perry is worth having around. I guess they don't know what they're doing like the Oilers!
But at least they saved a million on the cap to be able to assemble...this roster.

Ya they are a good team. High scoring and have the best goalie in the league. Nearly impossible to beat them
With saying that. Oilers can lose to anyone or beat anyone. So let’s hope we get a win.

Yeah, such a weak GM move (Bowman) .. you have a guy that competes harder than 80% of the roster.. both physically and offensively.. with results .. (never mind the leadership he brought) .. put your thinking caps on .. decide you can do better.. and instead you take that $1M and spend it on a TWO (2) year bet on Mangiapane..

Ingram back in net.
Suspect Jarventie is in if Fred is still out

Saw this over on LT's site..
That being said.. I think the biggest problem with this team above all else has been the GM and scouting.. for at least the last 3 generations of it.
| Quote: | “The one thing I do for this club is I set most of the emotional tones for this club. Because I’m competitive and I don’t like to lose. And I’m proud of what I do. And I want the team to be the same way. I don’t want them to quit, I don’t want them to give up, and I don’t want losing to be something that they’ll accept. When the guy that runs the team, you set those kind of tones for the club,
I don’t want it to be second best.
I’d rather have an arrogant guy working for me than someone who’s a whimp. I don’t think whimps are successful. If you want to be successful at anything then you have to believe in yourself. Because no one else is going to do it. And if you don’t do it yourself, then you can rely on everyone else who’s been unsuccessful and you can sit around together at the bar and cry together about it. But if you’re going to do it, you do it by yourself. Takes some guts to do that. ”

Ingram should definitely be back in net. Last game was hardly his fault. Almost every goal that beat him were tough goals. He might’ve lead in one soft one. I can’t remember, but it was just a team failure. He has proven to be the superior goalie. Jarry just needs to go away, or be sent down or something. He is horrific.
