Hope Draisaitl is okay. It looked awkward, but not threatening.
Ingram provides a quiet stable presence. He’s good enough when he plays like he did tonight. Not including 3 on 3, the Oilers have put together 5 out 6 solid periods of hockey and forgetting the crap show against Dallas, a great stretch of hockey. I’m an eternal optimist and I think there could be something brewing here. You can disagree, but you can’t burst my bubble.

Great game by Ingram.. deserved a SO
The goal on him was a fluke deflected wobbler ..
Liking Savoie, Samanski, Dickenson .. Samanski is getting better every game.. earning a starting job..
Nurse and Walman still a worry.
I'd have put Savoie or Rozzie on the PP in Leon's place.. Podz just isn't dynamic enough..
Big question is Leon.. 😬
Oilers can't play a passive D-zone box if they refuse to tie up forwards in front of the net.. take either the man or stick.. or both.. only guys that do it effectively is 14 and 5 .. rest more likely to stand around and watch..
Same Old Same Old Department:
Refs refused to call a few penalties vs Nashville.. the slash to the hand on 18 was the worst.. ref had a clear view.. this is not a case of "missing" it.. just a refusal to call it. And Josi tripped a guy in front of the Nashville net.. stick on the feet.. clear as a bell..

Kept their effort up through the game, unlike the St Louis one. Probably angry because of what happened to Drai.
Ingram solid, little luck with the post at the end, but considering we've hit the post a dozen times in the last week or so, feel like that was well earned luck.
Keeping pace in the division. Gotta keep pushing. Vegas and the Ducks might be getting out of their recent funks.

Anaheim should be without Gudas for 20 games.. what would Parros have given him if it was in the playoffs .. 1 ? Joke
Georgie boy stepping in to do his old team (and owners) a favour.. guy should've been fired a long time ago. Maybe he's positioning himself for a step off to the Duck front office in the future.. either there or Vegas.

I have no doubt there is an order to help the Ducks along right now. Probably half a decade of languishing attendance. They badly need that franchise to be exciting for their fans.
Zero benefit to catering to the leafs in any way right now. The tickets are all sold, and they messed up their team anyways so no playoffs.
