I was not expecting a win at all, but damn that win feels good. Jarry came In and was rock solid! Props to him. Hopefully this is some good momentum going into the Dallas game!

Avs had a stretch they were dominating earlier in the game, but aside from that, pretty even.
Still so many stupid giveaways in our zone. These are skilled NHLers barrelling down on you - why the hell are you just standing behind our net with the puck? Get it out of there…
Thought we had another McPoint at the end - I think buzzer went just before the puck crossed.

Great win. Really liked how engaged our forwards were in that last minute. Not everyone collapsing into the slot but putting pressure on the Colorado defense and forcing them to rush plays. Jarry was very sharp in the third. This is the kind of game that could turn the corner. Now finish strong.

And he missed the yawning cage moments before. If the Oilers were ever any good at empty netters, there's probably another 50 points for McDavid to this point in his career.

Great win. Crazy game. Kind of effort we need right now. Could have been easier if we cashed in on golden PP opportunities, but oh well.
Please be OK Ingram.

McD's goal was beautiful.. he should get the goal plus the 2nd assist.. just brilliant!
I like having Dickenson out there.. quiets everything down 5v5.. gets some non-chaos minutes.. and he's excellent on the PK.
Samanski looking solid, usually on the right side of the puck, good speed, and decent forecheck.
Worried about Dach and Emberson.. both shoulders.. not enthused about potential replacements.. it'll be a step down in talent.. likely Stastney and Henrique?
McDAVID! Oh YEAH Baby!! (Thank you Lord!)

That was a BIG win. Avs were ruthless, but the Oil stayed with it and overcame many moments of adversity. I think they can build off this as long as they don't play dumb again.

I had us down for a good old fashioned beat down last night, I didn't get up to watch the game either not because I feared the worse but I've been tired the last few days (I'm blaming be the all you can eat buffet the mossi's had on my legs watching a game of football on Sunday morning, the body is fighting hard to repair itself).
Going to watch the game back later on for sure, but I've just watched Bednar's post match presser, you know what I'm OK with him saying it wasn't a penalty, blaming Nurse for the collision it's what a coach is meant to do, support your players etc. However, to use terms like "I don't give a crap if he's injured" on a couple of occasions regarding Ingham is out of order and whilst what the Ave's have done this season has got to build up some respect, he's just chopped it all down.
Pleasing to see new PP moves, just got to keep changing things around to keep teams guessing what we are going to do.
A huge win though, after the thrashing they gave us earlier in the season, to go in and beat them has to give the team a huge confidence boost
Take me home, country road
to the place where I belong
to Alberta, to see the Oilers

Also - almost perfect OOTS last night. Knights lose, Sharks lose, Mammoth lose, Kraken lose, Kings lose in OT. Only blemish was the Ducks beating the hapless Jets. Now suddenly in 2nd place, tied in points with Vegas but holding the tie-breakers and no games in hand.
It would be nice to catch the Ducks here and take the division for a change. Besides, it would be doing the hockey world a favour. Ducks/Mammoth sounds like an awful playoff round.

Pleasantly surprised to see the result this morning. Sounds like we played a pretty solid all around game (about time!)
That GWG was a thing of beauty.
Sucks to lose Dach so soon into his time here. Hopefully Ingram & Emberson are OK.

Nice to see how whiny the Avs were after the game too. Blaming the officials, yelling about the major, bemoaning missed calls.
