Unless there are more disciplinary actions coming down the chute from the NHL DoPS, the damage of 7 games between the Lightning and Panthers have resulted in:
~$8K of fines for Florida
~$135K of fines for TBL with two players suspended for a total of 6 games.

I don't think they'd allow having family members in league admin and team management.. in either NFL, MLB, or NBA .. I saw the melee last night.. started by Mikkola who blind sided Kucherov behind teh play.. and then tried to casually skate off the ice..
TB isn't taking anymore of Maurice's BS this year.. Muarice got his ass kicked out of the game last night.. can't stand that pretentious donkey..

The Tkachuk skated across the whole rink to skate into Kucherov's back to knock him over a second time.

This was by a mile the easiest year we had to win the division in the McDavid era, and we have done absolutely everything we could to mess it up.
Our division is the joke of the league, and we are a big part of why. Only 1 team in our division has finished more games a winner than loser, the Ducks.

I believe there is a playoff salary cap in place now, so those usual tricks of stacking up for the playoffs won't work anymore. They can go over, but won't be able to dress a team in the playoffs that's over the cap.

This means we can sit Nurse for all of the playoffs and that frees up all kinds of space for us.

After Barkov went down, the league made a point to say that the new playoff cap rules could have some flexibility to them and the rules are not set in stone.
Don't worry, I'm sure Florida and Vegas have a plan. Fingers crossed Florida just doesn't make the playoffs at all, but Bennett and Tkachuk just put up 5 points in 3 games now that they are back on the juice. I wouldn't count them out yet.
