so far the Olympic break didn't help Walman, Nurse .. sui passes.. weak on the puck.. Mr. Coffey hasn't had an effect so far.
Man, Emberson and Stastney just look like they're flailing around out there.. weak pairing..
Nothings changed on the back end..
Even Ekholm was struggling that period..

Ducks are rolling now. Oilers are showing their weaknesses and Anaheim is taking over this one.
This is not a good Oilers squad.

This team just can't play a full game. It’s either a good start then pack it in for the rest of the night or start off slowly and not play hard until late in the game. You can probably count on one hand the number of regular season games this team has dominated start to finish in the Knoblach era.

Rightfully so, that was not an interference on Emberson.. he tied up his stick and the Duck forward fell over top of his own stick.. total made up call.. and all the "hooking" calls that ref has called on the Oilers .. (lifting the stick) are the same plays the Ducks do every single time 97 and 29 touch the puck.. there is a stick in their hands every minute of their shift... there would be 20 Oiler PPs if they used the same rule book both ways..

Brutal mishandle of the puck. Can’t keep up with a man. Then leaves a guy wide open on his side of the net.
