Last time we won a game convincingly was against the Blues. We are absolute crap right now

Better beat Calgary tomorrow

What a game, boys. What a game.

Might as well just go to sleep and stay there until after the break. Don't even bother showing up for the Flames. Just go to sleep and have a nice snooze.

Brutal.

Sigh. Patiently waiting for playoffs and wondering if this team still has another gear.

Assuming we make the playoffs of course.

Fire Mark Stuart? PK and defense coach. These guys look like they need to take the George Constanza approach to whatever Stuart is trying to teach. Do the opposite.

Lost the game on that BS 5 on 3 penalty call on Janmark.. Matthews should have been called for interference.. it was textbook.. it would have remained a 5v4 .. which they would have killed. And I'm sure they'd find a way to tie and win in OT.

NHL Corp. at work.. they make up the rule book from play to play.. when is the last time we got a 5v3 PP based on a weak a$$ call like that?

That being said .. the 2-1 goal was brutal.. 7 seconds ! .. Walman jumps up off the center ice face-off from his goal.. gets caught at center ice.. loses his man on teh way back.. and pizza pie open shot in the slot for another easy goal.

Gotta get Walman and Nurse away from each other.

The fact that Knob and Co don't see that Nurse and Walman CANNOT play together.... is a little mindblowing. They are awful together, because they play the same game. Rely on athleticism to make up for limited intelligence.

Bowman has royally screwed up if our next year 16.25M D pair can’t handle 2nd pair minutes. Our first pair will make 14.5M for reference.

And there is no one left that has looked like they can play with Nurse. Stecher and Kulak both had periods of filling that role and both gone now. Our 5/6/7 guys on the D depth chart are extremely unpredictable and unreliable now.

At least Nurse won a fight.. fun to see.. Carlo almost taking out McD..

P.S. Leafs can keep Mcmann unless he's a trade even up for Mangi.

Knob's post game presser was a mess. Could barely articulate himself.

I think there are some people in the org that are starting to ask some questions. A quarter of the season to wake up is one thing... but two thirds of the way through the season and all the same mistakes... that's on the coach and holding players accountable. Knob better buckle down and start demanding more from his players, or he'll be looking for a new job.

The heat is on, Kris. Time to respond.
