PS.. In it he said he played lacrosse.. which backs my hypothesis that most of the greatest NHL players played both sports.. super complimentary skills.. finding open space offensively is a lacrosse art form.

What a guy, a true icon for the team we watch and cheer for.
May they find the right pieces so he can get his cup and multiple cups with this team.
Please, for Connor's sake.
The very definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing expecting different results.

He wants to win one with Edmonton and I respect the hell out of him for it. He doesn’t want to go elsewhere especially a stacked team. I just don’t think he will get pride out of that
I really hope he can win it all with Edmonton. We were so damn close the last two years, and it feels like we have taken a giant step backwards 😢
This year with our weak division I have no doubts we can reach the conf final, but playing a 7 game series against Colorado or Minnesota is just terrifying
Now granted we have to make playoffs first. I think we are only in a playoff spot by a game and a half or something.
I just checked. We are second at 64 points. Kings are on the outside looking in at 60 points. So literally a two game slide for the oilers could be enough to throw us out of contention.
We need to be more consistent.
Luckily we have the leafs and flames which hopefully we take both goin into the break
