Guess I was only thinking in terms of what was right picking 2/3. Not sure if this was actually a needed thing to do unless there is some other move we are planning to do.

.. great for retaining Oil assets.. reduce cap for roster moves.. not sure how I feel about it from Picks POV..

Seems to be a league wide understanding that Oilers playoff success the last few years is only proportional to the effort/system the players are doing. Barely anything to do with the goalies, aside from when one of our goalies would curl up into a ball and outright sabotage his team and make it impossible to win games no matter what they did.
